Still Waiting

  We arrived at the hospital at 6am, We handed her off to the anesthesiologist (Dr. Ramamorthy) at the doors of the OR at 730am.  Thanks to premeds she went without a fight, we felt helpless as usual.  Its now 530pm and we are still waiting.  We will update once we talk to the surgeon (Dr. Hanley) and once we check on her in the ICU.

Yesterday the four of us were able to spend one last day outside together riding bikes.

Riding thru the Cactus Gardens (Rod offered Nolan $10 to do a back flip in a bed of cactus)

And in the evening got to pet and feed barnyard animals at RMH.

...Just got an update from OR nurse and it could be another 2 hours, but things are going ok.
